Our summer lake science assistant Miles Hagedorn (Bates College) collecting water samples on East Pond.
Air temperatures are starting to cool off, and the lakes are soon to follow. This might be the last “Summer” water quality update, but we will continue our monitoring until ice begins to form (and we sample through the ice once it’s thick enough too!), and will be reporting what we see regularly. To view the latest water quality report, you can download the pdf below, or stop by the Belgrade Farmer’s Market at the 7 Lakes Alliance office this Sunday 8am-1pm.
