Night Hike changed to Dolley Property in Rome

Join us on conservation lands to see the landscape at night. Come experience the magic of a night hike on our Dolley property. Although small, this preserve has a host of habitats (Wetlands/fields/forest) and we’ll quietly work our way down the shore of Long Pond and see what we can observe and hear. Anyone up for the compelling call of Stix varia (barred owl) as it silently hunts for dinner or examining what tracks are present on the access road or in the field? Hike is easy for beginners and there is nothing better than turning off the devices and getting outside in winter! Weather is predicted to be chilly and warm hiking boots are recommended.  Depending on the snow depth, gaiters may be appropriate as well.  Meet at the Roundtop parking lot.
