About The Event
We are excited to welcome back Maine Guide Richard Behr, who will present on his Nordic Skating experiences, and the importance of staying safe on the ice!
We’ll learn about characteristics of ice, different types of “wild ice”, and how to assess the safety of ice on lakes and ponds. Expect an engaging presentation with real life examples, and walk away with more confidence on the ice this winter.
This presentation will be available in person at the 7 Lakes Alliance building located at 137 Main Street in Belgrade on Wednesday, December 18th at 6 pm, and on Zoom on Thursday, December 19th at 6 pm.
