DESCRIPTION:Join 7 Lakes Alliance and Maine Conservation Corps for a Volunteer Trail Day on Mt. Phillip in Rome! \nTrail Work with Maine Conservation Corps & 7 Lakes Alliance \nMaintenance will include smoothing trail surface\, cleaning up brush\, and hardening the trail surface with rocks and other natural materials. \n		\n			Trail Map		\n\n  \nMeeting location:\nMeet 7 Lakes Alliance staff at the Rome Corner Park & Ride\, where we will carpool to the Mt. Phillip Upper Trailhead parking lot. The coordinates of the Park & Ride are: 44°34’45.3″N 69°52’50.9″W\, and can be put into your GPS. Folks are encouraged to carpool to reduce the burden on the trailhead parking lots. \n\nWhat to bring:\n\nClose toed shoes\nPants\nGloves\nFood and water to be outside for the day\nSun protection\nLoppers and a small hand saw (optional\, 7 Lakes has tools as well)\n\nEvent Policies\n\nWe ask everyone attending 7 Lakes Alliance events to treat people\, plants\, and animals with respect.\n7 Lakes staff may be taking pictures during this event. If you would not like to be photographed\, please let staff know during the event or contact staff ahead of time.\nPets will not be allowed at this event.\nSafety is our primary concern. If you are acting in an unsafe way\, 7 Lakes Alliance will ask you to leave the event.
