SUMMARY:Walk with the Wildflowers
DESCRIPTION:Walk through the wildflowers of our Quill Hill Conservation Area with Maine Master Naturalist Deb Stahler. \nWildflower walk on the Quill Hill Conservation Area in 2024 \nThe walk will focus on wildflower identification and investigate how many species we see that are native vs how many have been brought here after European occupation. Deb graduated from the Maine Master Naturalist Program in 2020 and has been leading walks since then. We will be on level ground and walking fairly slowly to fully appreciate the nature around us. \n\nParking\nMeet at the Quill Hill Trailhead on Drury Lane in Rome\, just passed Rome Corner on route 225.\n		\n			Directions & trail map		\n\n\nEvent Policies\n\nWe ask everyone attending 7 Lakes Alliance events to treat people\, plants\, and animals with respect.\n7 Lakes staff may be taking pictures during this event. If you would not like to be photographed\, please let staff know during the event or contact staff ahead of time.\nPets will not be allowed at this event.\nSafety is our primary concern. If you are acting in an unsafe way\, 7 Lakes Alliance will ask you to leave the event.
