On Wednesday, October 29th from 5:30-7:30, Maine’s Bureau of Public Lands (BPL) will be hosting a public comment session on the newest draft of the Kennebec Highlands Management Plan. This session will be held at the 7 Lakes Alliance office, and will focus on the new Trails Plan for the unit, as well as the management plan addition that covers the former Allen’s Property (mostly on Vienna Mountain).

The Bureau of Public Lands has gone out of their way to hold this meeting in the Belgrade area hoping to attract interested locals. If you are interested in learning more about these plans, or know someone who might be, please come and make your opinions heard!
