Enjoy the first full moon of the summer from the top of French Mountain! Staff from our Land Stewardship department will lead the hike up the French Mountain trail starting at 8:30 pm. The group will hike 0.4 miles to the summit and arrive just before the moonrise at 9:00 pm.

Driving Directions to Trailhead:

We will meet at the French Mountain Trailhead, located at 139 Watson Pond Rd, Rome, ME 04963. Coming south on Watson Pond Road, look for a blue sign on the left.

What to Bring:

• sturdy hiking shoes
• flashlight/headlamp
• dress in layers

• We ask everyone attending 7 Lakes Alliance events to treat people, plants, and animals with respect.
• 7 Lakes staff may be taking pictures during this event. If you would not like to be photographed, please let staff know during the event or contact staff ahead of time.
• Pets will not be allowed at this event.
