Paddle north from the Wings Mills dam to our Fogg Island Preserve!

Guided by 7 Lakes Alliance staff Dan Woughter, we will paddle north from the Wings Mills Dam approximately 2 miles to 7 Lakes Alliance’s Fogg Island Preserve.

Things to bring

• Sun protection
• Paddle Craft (canoe, kayak, paddle board)
  • 7 Lakes Alliance has one canoe that can be borrowed for this event. Please email [email protected] by 2pm on Thursday the 6th to inquire.
• Binoculars if you have them
• Water and snacks to be out on the water for a couple hours
• Recommended to bring a change of clothes

Meeting location

Park at the Wings Mills Dam located onWings Mills Road. These coordinates can be put directly into your GPS to bring you to the launch: 44°25’59.0″N 69°54’04.7″W. Plan to meet 5-10 minutes before 10 am so we have time to get gear ready and check the paddle craft over.

• 7 Lakes staff may be taking pictures during this event. If you would not like to be photographed, please let staff know during the event or contact staff ahead of time.
• Pets will not be allowed at this event.
• Safety is our primary concern. If you are acting in an unsafe way, 7 Lakes Alliance will ask you to leave the event.
