Blueberries have historical and cultural significance to the Wabanaki People of what is now known as the USA and Canada. This film highlights the challenges of traditional hand raking blueberries within the current world market, which favors mechanical harvesting. This film showcases the Wabanaki tradition of blueberry harvesting in Maine and the important relationship the People of the Dawnland maintain with blueberry barrens today.
