Trail Work with Maine Conservation Corps & 7 Lakes Alliance
Maintenance will include smoothing trail surface, cleaning up brush, and hardening the trail surface with rocks and other natural materials.

Meeting location:
Meet 7 Lakes Alliance staff at the Rome Corner Park & Ride, where we will carpool to the Mt. Phillip Upper Trailhead parking lot. The coordinates of the Park & Ride are: 44°34’45.3″N 69°52’50.9″W, and can be put into your GPS. Folks are encouraged to carpool to reduce the burden on the trailhead parking lots.
What to bring:
- Close toed shoes
- Pants
- Gloves
- Food and water to be outside for the day
- Sun protection
- Loppers and a small hand saw (optional, 7 Lakes has tools as well)

- We ask everyone attending 7 Lakes Alliance events to treat people, plants, and animals with respect.
- 7 Lakes staff may be taking pictures during this event. If you would not like to be photographed, please let staff know during the event or contact staff ahead of time.
- Pets will not be allowed at this event.
- Safety is our primary concern. If you are acting in an unsafe way, 7 Lakes Alliance will ask you to leave the event.
