Want to feel more confident out on wild ice? Interested in skating on our frozen lakes and ponds?

Join Maine Guide, Richard “Dick” Behr, as he guides us through his journey of falling in love with the wild ice of Maine’s lakes and ponds. Throughout his presentation, Behr will teach us about the safety measures and equipment he uses to feel confident on wild ice, as well as share his passion for exploring Maine through its frozen water bodies. This presentation is great for folks who want to learn about the nature of wild ice, how to enjoy it safely, and hear Behr’s first-hand experience Nordic skating on lakes and ponds.
