All aboard our floating classroom for a morning out on Great Pond with 7 Lakes Alliance Lake Scientist Matt Farragher! This program will take participants out to one of the “deep sites” of Great Pond where Matt will discuss factors that effect water quality, the impact that land conservation has on water quality, and provide hands-on opportunities to learn about water quality measurements.

Meeting Location:
This program will meet at 7 Lakes Alliance, 137 Main Street, Belgrade, ME 04917. Here, we will gather and review boat safety, board the 7 Lakes Alliance Floating Classroom (22 ft pontoon boat), and venture out onto Great Pond.
What to Bring:

- snacks
7 Lakes Alliance will provide lifejackets for all attendees

- We ask everyone attending 7 Lakes Alliance events to treat people, plants, and animals with respect.
- 7 Lakes staff may be taking pictures during this event. If you would not like to be photographed, please let staff know during the event or contact staff ahead of time.
- Pets will not be allowed at this event.
