Protecting our watershed takes more than science—it takes connection.

That is why we are introducing the 7 Lakes Alliance Artist Residency this season! This exciting initiative is a brainchild of 7 Lakes volunteer and donor Michelle Davis. Community members of all ages are invited to participate in a series of workshops designed to foster creativity and connections to nature. This pilot-year program will culminate in an environmental puppet pageant during the Belgrade Lakes 2026 4th of July Parade, engaging not only artists but community members as well.

All participants are invited to walk in the July 4th “Puppets of the Lake Pageant” during the 4th of July Parade in the village of Belgrade Lakes.
