Inspect boats at the boat launches in the watershed looking for invasive plants.  This position also helps to oversee seasonal CBIs. In particular, the Assistant Coordinator will be the manager on duty, when the coordinator is not available.

Pay: $18 / hour
Schedule: up to 40 hours per week, weekends required

Locate, identify, and remove invasive aquatic plants that threaten native species, water quality, and recreation. This is a physically demanding, outdoor position that involves extensive time on and under the water in varying weather conditions.

Serve as the primary liaison between the Program Director and field staff, translating work plans into safe, efficient, and well-executed daily missions. Each Crew Leader supervises a team of 2–3 crew members.

Participate in completing erosion-control projects in the Belgrade Lakes watershed, work closely with Field Directors and oversee a crew of 3-4 YCC workers installing best management practices (BMPs).

Pay: $18/hour
Schedule: Seasonal, approximately 35 hours/week; Monday – Friday and occasional Saturdays
Dates: Start early-May 2026 for college students / mid-June for high school students through late-August 2026
