It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Kathi Wall, founding Executive Director of the Maine Lakes Resource Center, the organization whose merger with the Belgrade Regional Conservation Alliance, gave rise to 7 Lakes Alliance.
Kathi’s leadership, vision and passion laid the foundation for the conservation work we carry forward today. Her impact on the Belgrade Lakes watershed is woven into everything we do and she will be sorely missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her and working alongside her.
We will honor Kathi’s remarkable legacy in greater detail in our fall newsletter. We hope that you will look for that tribute. There will be a celebration of life for Kathi on August 16th, venue to be announced shortly.
